About

Astellas Pharma in Greece was founded in April 2005 after the merger of Fujisawa and Yamanouchi. Before that, Yamanouchi had operated as an affiliate since September 2004, and both companies started their business in Greece many years previously through local representatives. Astellas Greece employs 57 people and is responsible for Greece and Cyprus.

In Europe, Astellas' key strengths lie in the therapy areas of Transplantation, Urology, Dermatology, and, more recently, the new area of Anti-infectives.
