Astellas Pharma S.p.A is a company in continuous development, employing around 50 office-based staff and more than 130 people out in the field. The offices were established in Carugate (Milan) in 1994 and extended in 2000.

"GIVING SOMETHING BACK" PROJECT
To underpin its commitment to corporate social responsibility, Astellas Pharma S.p.A has invested in the reforestation of some 18 hectares of woodland, which will hopefully neutralise its direct and indirect emissions of CO2.
Moreover, it has developed an eco-learning website (http://astellas.e-teams.it) to train all Astellas employees on how to adopt individual and company behaviours which are environment-friendly.
